هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد درجة توافر كفايات الباحث التربوي لدى طلاب الدراسات العليا بكلية التربية جامعة الإسكندرية، وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي؛ حيث تم تحديد كفايات الباحث التربوي وتصنيفها إلى كفايات شخصية وكفايات أكاديمية وكفايات فنية إجرائية، وأدرجت في استبانة طبقت عينة مكونة من (52) من الأساتذة أعضاء هيئة التدريس و(150) من طلاب الدراسات العليا. وأشارت النتائج إلى أن درجة توافر كفايات الباحث التربوي لدى طلاب الدراسات العليا جاءت متوسطة بنسبة (64% ) كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين نتائج الأساتذة ونتائج الطلاب لصالح الطلاب، كما عدد الطلاب عدد من المعوقات التي تعيق تقدمهم. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج قامت الباحثة بوضع رؤية مقترحة للإرتقاء بإعداد الباحث في ميدان التربية. The study aimed to identify competences of the scientific research of higher studies students at Alexandria University. A descriptive approach was used and the required competences was identified and it was classified to It was included in a procedural art competence, scientific, personal questionnaire applied for a sample consisted of 52 university teachers and 152 high studies students of college of education (Master and PHD Degree). The results revealed that availability degree of scientific research was medium by (64%). The study results clarified that there were significant differences in availability degree of scientific research for higher studies students between university teachers and students’ estimations in favor of students. And the students located numbers of obstacles which hinder their progress then the researcher has put a proposed vision to upgrade the researcher’s preparation in the field of education.
