هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مشكلات المدارس الابتدائية الخاصة بمحافظة المنيا من وجهة نظر المعلمين وأولياء الأمور، واستخدمت المنهج الوصفي، وقامت الباحثة بإعداد استبانتين إحداهما موجهة للمعلمين بالمدارس الابتدائية الخاصة بمصروفات بمحافظة المنيا، والثانية موجهة لأولياء أمور تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائية بنفس المدارس، ويمكن تلخيص أهم المشكلات التي توصلت إليها الدراسة الميدانية حيث تواجه المدارس الابتدائية الخاصة من وجهة نظر أولياء الأمور فيما يلي: 1) عدم توافر المباني المدرسية الملائمة للعملية التعليمية ولأعداد التلاميذ المتزايدة كل عام. 2) انخفاض مستوى الخدمة التعليمية وعدم الاهتمام الكافي بممارسة الأنشطة الطلابية رغم ارتفاع المصروفات المدرسية وخاصة مصروفات الأنشطة. 3) سوء الإضاءة والتهوية في بعض فصول المدرسة. 4) التعليم الخاص يتركز في المدن فقط مما يخل بمبدأ تكافؤ الفرص التعليمية. 5) اهتمام أصحاب المدارس الخاصة بالربح المادي أكثر من اهتمامهم بالعملية التعليمية. 6) عدم فاعلية الدور الذي يقوم به مجالس الآباء والمعلمين. 7) عدم انتظام إدارة المدرسة في إرسال تقارير أولياء الأمور عن سلوكيات الأبناء. 8) معاناة ولي الأمور من زيادة المصروفات المدرسية كل عام. 9) بعض المعلمين بالمدارس الخاصة حديثي التخرج وخبرتهم بالتدريس ضعيفة. كما توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود اتفاق كبير بين وجهة نظر المعلمين وأولياء الأمور حول وجود هذه المشكلات مما يدعم وجودها، مع اختلاف آرائهم حول درجة وجود هذه المشكلات. This study aimed to identify the private primary schools problems in Minia Governorate from the teachers and parents perspectives. The study used the descriptive approach. The researcher designed two questionnaires, one directed to teachers at private primary schools in Minia Governorate, and the second one was directed to parents of fifth grade primary students at the same schools. The most important problems that reached through the field study can be summarized in the light of parents’ perspectives as following: 1) Lack of adequate school buildings of the educational process that suits the increasing number of students each year. 2) Decrease of the educational services and insufficient attention to students activities despite the high school fees and the gained expenses for activities. 3) Insufficient lighting and ventilation in some school classes. 4) Private education is concentrated in the cities only, which affect the principle of equal educational opportunities. 5) The major concern of private schools’ owners is about the financial profit more than in the educational process. 6) Ineffectiveness of the role played by boards of parents and teachers. 7) Weakness at school administration punctuality in sending reports to students’ parents about their behaviors. 8) Some teachers in private schools are recently graduates and their teaching experiences are weak.
