The aim of the current research is to develop a list of criteria for preparing the contents of children's television programs in the light of the experiences of some foreign countries (Australia, Saudi Arabia), based on the analysis of a sample of children's programs on television channels directed to him for a program sample consisting of (4) television programs in channels (Majid) and (Spacetoon) and the necessary tools were built to be used to achieve the desired goals of the research, and a content analysis form was used for these programs (prepared by the researcher), a list of criteria for preparing the contents of children's television programs, including linguistic and aesthetic criteria (prepared by the researcher). The most important results revealed that the time space allocated for displaying information and values was represented in (less than half of the time) in all programs. The source of program production (the study sample) was Arab. The direction of the contents in most of the programs was mental and contains a high percentage of negative behavioral patterns and many errors. Language and vocabulary that are not appropriate for the age stage. (Published abstract)
