هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على واقع متطلبات تحويل جامعة الكويت إلى جامعة ذكية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وقد تكون مجتمع البحث من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الكويت، واشتملت عينة البحث على (92) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة تدريس، واعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الوصفي، واستعانت بالاستبانة كأداة للبحث. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن واقع متطلبات تحويل جامعة الكويت إلى جامعة ذكية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس جاء بدرجة استجابة (عالية)؛ حيث جاء في الترتيب الأول (البعد الأول: متطلبات تقنية)، ويليه في الترتيب الثاني (البعد الثاني: متطلبات تنظيمية)، ويليهم في الترتيب الثالث والأخير (البعد الثالث: متطلبات بشرية)، وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة إعداد وحدة للتحول الرقمي الذكي داخل جامعة الكويت والتعاون مع مركز تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات ومركز التدريب بالجامعة، ومركز تنمية القدرات في التدريب على استخدام التكنولوجيا الرقمية. This research aimed to identify the reality of the requirements for transforming Kuwait University into a smart university from the faculty members’ point of view. The research community consisted of all faculty members at Kuwait University and the research sample included (92) faculty members. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as a research tool. This research concluded that the reality of the requirements for transforming Kuwait University into a smart university from the faculty members point of view obtained a (high) response degree, where (the first dimension: technical requirements) came first, (the second dimension: organizational requirements) came second and (the third dimension: human requirements) came last. The research recommended the need to set up a unit for smart digital transformation within Kuwait University and to cooperate with the communications and information technology center, the Training Center at the university, and faculty and leadership development center on using digital technology.
