هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على مدى تضمين كتاب الجغرافيا للصف الثاني الثانوي لأهداف التنمية المستدامة وما يرتبط بها من مقاصد، واتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي باستخدام أسلوب تحليل المحتوى، وتكونت عينة البحث من كتاب الجغرافيا للصف الثاني الثانوي، حيث اعتمد التحليل على وحدة الفقرة كأساس لعملية التحليل وأخذت أهداف التنمية المستدامة ومقاصدها معيار للتحليل، وتبين من عملية التحليل أن محتوى منهج الجغرافيا (الكتاب عينة الدراسة) تضمن ثمانية وسبعون (78) مقصدا بنسبة (50%) من مقاصد التنمية المستدامة البالغ عددها مائة سبعة وخمسون مقصدا (157) تندرج من سبعة عشر (17) هدفا رئيسا، وقد أسفر تحليل نتائج البحث عن عدة نتائج أهمها: أن منهج الجغرافيا للصف الثاني الثانوي لا يحقق أهداف التنمية المستدامة بمقاصدها، هذا ويتضمن البحث عددًا من التوصيات والمقترحات التربوية. This study aimed at identifying how far was the implication of Geography textbook of secondary stage had covered the goals of sustainable development and its targets. The current study adopted the descriptive research design by analyzing second year geography textbook. Analyzing the content was in the light of the goals of sustainable development and its targets. Analyzing the content revealed that the geography curriculum implied (78) targets (50%) covered the targets of sustainable development which contains (157) targets derived from (17) goals. Results revealed that the geography curriculum of the second year at the secondary stage did not fulfill the goals of the sustainable development as well as its targets. A number of recommendations and suggestions for further research were presented. (Published abstract)
