سعت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على العوامل المؤثرة في تبني طلاب وأساتذة كليات الإعلام لتكنولوجيا الاتصال في التعليم الإعلامي، من حيث مدى استخداماتهم لتقنيات الاتصال في التعليم، وحجم معرفتهم وتقبلهم لتلك التقنيات، فضلاً عن معرفة التقنيات الأكثر استخداماً من غيرها، ودوافع تلك الاستخدامات لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة. وقد وظف المنهج الوصفي من خلال استخدام الأساليب الكمية وذلك عن طريق استمارة استبانة وزعت على عينة من طلاب وأساتذة الإعلام في ليبيا. وأظهرت نتائج الدارسة بأن طلاب الدراسات العليا بكليات الإعلام في ليبيا هم الأكثر استخداماً لتكنولوجيا الاتصال، ولديهم مستوى عال من المعرفة بهذه التكنولوجيا، ويستخدمونها لتطوير مهاراتهم التعليمية، فيما بينت النتائج بأنه على الرغم من الاستخدامات الواسعة التي حظيت بها تقنيات الاتصال بين أفراد العينة إلا أن المنفعة المتحققة كانت منخفضة. This study sought to identify the factors that affect the adoption of communication technology in media education by students and member staff of media faculties in Libya, in terms of the extent of their use of communication technologies in education, as well as their knowledge and acceptance of these technologies. In addition, to knowing the techniques that are utilized more than others, also the motives for those uses. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was employed, besides the questionnaire as a tool of quantitative methods was distributed to a sample of media students and member staff in Libya. The results showed that the postgraduate students in media faculties in Libya are the most using communication technology, and they have a high level of knowledge of this technology, they use it to develop their educational skills. Furthermore, it found that despite the common use of communication technologies among the study sample, however, the achieved benefit was scarce. (Published abstract)
