هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور برامج الأنشطة المدرسية في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى الطلبة بمحافظة جنوب الباطنة من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم في سلطنة عُمان، والكشف إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات تقديرات الطلبة تبعاً للمتغيرات الديموغرافية (الجنس، والصفوف الدراسية). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي بتصميم استبانة مكونة من 30 فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات (المعرفي، والمهاري، والوجداني)، وبعد التأكد من دلالات صدقها وثباتها طبقت على 530 طالباً وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة، وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة تم استخراج المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية لكل مجال من مجالات الدراسة، بالإضافة إلى استخدام الاختبار التائي. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن دور برامج الأنشطة المدرسية في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى الطلبة جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة 0.05 تعزى لمتغير الجنس في جميع المجالات والأداة الكلية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة 0.05 تعزى لمتغير الصفوف الدراسية؛ لصالح الصفوف (5-7). وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة، قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: دعوة إدارات المدارس إلى إشراك الطلبة في وضع الخطة المدرسية، وقيام اللجنة المدرسية بتنفيذ برامج توعوية للطلبة عن المواقع السياحية بالسلطنة. This study aimed to identify the role of school activities programs in developing the value of citizenship among the students in Batinah South Governorate from the perspective of the students themselves in the Sultanate of Oman. As well as, it seeks to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences between the averages. The research used a descriptive survey approach and designed a questionnaire consisting of 30 items which distributed into three domains (cognitive, skills and emotional). Additionally, this study was applied to 530 students and were chosen by an available approach. Subsequently, arithmetic averages and standard deviations were extracted. The results of the study revealed the role of school activities programs in developing the value of citizenship among the students, which was high. Additionally, the result showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.05 from the perspective of the students due to the gender variable. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance 0.05 in favor of classes (5-7). The overall findings recommend that: implementing school activities programs through the implementation of awareness programs for the students about the tourist sites. (Published abstract)
