يهدف البحث الحالي إلى إعداد مقياس لعادات العقل الستة عشر في ضوء نموذج Costa and Kallick, 2000، وللتحقق من خصائصه السيكومترية تم تطبيق المقياس على عينة مكونة من (280) طالبا وطالبة، وأظهرت النتائج تمتع المقياس بصدق محتوى مناسب ≥ (0,6)، قيم مقبولة لمؤشرات جودة مطابقة النموذجCFI=0.85, IFI=0.85, RMSEA=0.03,) SRMR=0.05, RMR=0.02, CMIN/DF=1.3)، وقيم ثبات مرتفعة لمعاملات ألفا- كرونباك لكل عادة من عادات العقل الستة عشر (المثابرة= 0,83، إدارة الاندفاعية= 0,82، الإصغاء بفهم وتعاطف= 0,82، التفكير بمرونة= 0,76، التفكير في التفكير= 0,76، الاجتهاد من أجل تحقيق الدقة= 0,80، التساؤل وطرح المشكلات= 0,80، تطبيق المعارف السابقة على الموقف الجديد= 0,76، التفكير والتواصل بدقة ووضوح= 0,78، جمع البيانات باستخدام كافة الحواس= 0,78، الابتكار والخيال والتجديد= 0,76، الاستجابة بدهشة ورهبة= 0,80، الإقدام على مخاطر مسئولة= 0,80، إيجاد الدعابة= 0,81، التفكير التبادلي= 0,80، والانفتاح الدائم على التعلم المستمر= 0,80). The present research aimed at constructing a scale of habits of mind according to Costa and Kallick' s model. The sample consisted of (280) students at the second year of the Faculty of Education – Minia University. Results showed that, the scale has an appropriate content validity ≥ (0.6), an acceptable values for indicators of the model fitness (CFI=0.85, IFI=0.85, RMSEA=0.03, SRMR=0.05, RMR=0.02, CMIN/DF=1.3), also acceptable reliability values for alpha-Cronbach' s coefficients to the sixteen habits of mind (persisting= 0.83, managing impulsivity= 0.82, listening with understanding and empathy= 0.82, thinking flexibly= 0.76, thinking about thinking= 0.76, striving for accuracy= 0.80, questioning and posing problems= 0.80, applying past knowledge to new situations= 0.76, thinking and communicating with clarity and precision= 0.78, gathering data through all senses= 0.78, creating, imagining, innovating= 0.76, responding with wonderment and awe= 0.80, taking responsible risks= 0.80, finding humor= 0.81, thinking interdependently= 0.80, and remaining open to continuous learning= 0.80).
