The present study aims at making a proposal for applying organizational change management in secondary schools in Kuwait in the Light of some contemporary variables. It used the descriptive approach and applied a questionnaire to a randomly selected sample of (306) teachers in the secondary scgiiks if tge (Al Asimah, Hawalli, Al-Ahmadi, Alfarwaniya, and Mubarak AlKabeer) educational directorates. The results showed that the degree of the reality of identifying the requirements of applying the organizational change in the light of contemporary variables affecting secondary school management in Kuwait from the teachers` perspectives in the six educational directorates was low. Knowledge economy, globalization, competitiveness, and information and communication technology were ranked first, second, third, and fourth, respectively, Furthermore, the degree of the reality if the obstacles facing the application of the organizational change in the light of contemporary variables was low. While the obstacles relating to material potentials were ranked first, those related to human potentials were ranked second. They were followed by the obstacles related to the financial potentials, those of the administrative potentials, and the obstacles related to legislation, respectively. (Published abstract)
