تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على أهم الأسباب التي تؤدي إلى وقوع أعمال الشغب ووضع الوسائل والآليات المناسبة لمواجهة شغب الملاعب، واستخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي لملائمته مع هدف الدراسة. يتكون مجتمع الدراسة من (240) فردا من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسين بجامعات إقليم كوردستان وتم اختيار (96) فردا كعينة للدراسة، واستخدم الباحثان مقياس الاستبيان للحصول على البيانات اللازمة، ووصلت هذه الدراسة إلى وضع مجموعة من الوسائل والآليات الحديثة، أهمها تثقيف الجمهور الرياضي من خلال المؤسسات والمراكز العلمية والتربوية والإعلامية بالإضافة إلى الأندية الرياضية للحد من انتشار ظاهرة الشغب في الملاعب. ومن الوسائل والآليات الأخرى هي التنسيق بين مختلف المؤسسات (الأمن، وزارة الشباب والرياضة، الإدارة المحلية، الأندية الرياضية) لاحتواء هذه الظاهرة وإعادة المتعة والروح الرياضية وقيمها الرائعة وخصائصها النبيلة الممتعة والتنافسية. The research aimed to identify the most important causes that lead to riots and develop appropriate means and mechanisms to confront the riots of the stadiums. The research population consists of (240) members of the teaching staff at the universities of Kurdistan province and (96) individuals were selected as a research sample. The researchers used the questionnaire scale to obtain the necessary data. The research researched to a set of modern means and mechanism such as educating sport audience through educational, scientific and media centers as well as sports clubs to reduce the spread of riots in stadiums. Other means and mechanisms are coordination between the various institutions (security, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, local administration, sports clubs) to contain this phenomenon and restore recreation and sportsmanship and its wonderful values and noble characteristics of fun and competition.
