سعت الدراسة الحالية إلى بناء ثلاثة سيناريوهات لتطوير التعليم الأساسي في مصر للوفاء بمتطلبات العصر الرقمي. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بأسلوبه التحليلي. كما استخدمت أيضا أداة التحليل الرباعي (SWOT) كأحد أدوات التخطيط الاستراتيجي لتحليل البيئة الداخلية والخارجية لمرحلة التعليم الأساسي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى بناء ثلاثة سيناريوهات تصف ملامح التعليم الأساسي في المستقبل. السيناريو الأول وهو السيناريو المرجعي. والسيناريو الثاني هو السيناريو الإصلاحي. أما الثالث فهو السيناريو الإبداعي أو الابتكاري. The current study sought to build three scenarios for the development of Basic Education in Egypt to meet the requirements of the Digital Age. The study used the Descriptive Approach. The study also used the (SWOT) Analysis Tool to analyze the internal and external environments of the basic education stage. The study concluded to build three scenarios describing the future of basic education: The reference scenario, the reform scenario and the creative or innovative scenario. (Published abstract)
