هدف البحث إلى معرفة أثر استراتيجية مقترحة قائمة على نظرية الذكاء الناجح لتدريس الهندسة في تنمية القدرة المكانية ومهارات التفكير التقويمي لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، واستخدم البحث المنهج التجريبي، حيث تكونت عينة البحث من (86) تلميذا وتلميذة من تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، موزعين على مجموعتين أحداهما ضابطة وعددها (42) تلميذا وتلميذه والأخرى تجريبية وعددها (44) تلميذا وتلميذه، ثم تم إعداد مواد وأدوات البحث متمثلة في دليل المعلم وأوراق عمل التلاميذ للاستراتيجية المقترحة، واختبار للقدرة المكانية، وآخر لمهارات التفكير التقويمي في وحدة "الهندسة والقياس"، وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث قبليا وبعديا على مجموعتي البحث، وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار القدرة المكانية ككل وفي جميع أبعاده، ولاختبار مهارات التفكير التقويمي ككل وفي جميع مهاراته لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وأوصى البحث بتبني المؤسسات التعليمية تدريب المعلمين للتدريس المبني على نظرية الذكاء الناجح في تدريس الموضوعات الرياضية. The present study aimed at identifying the effect of a proposed strategy based on successful intelligence theory in teaching geometry on enhancing spatial ability and evaluative thinking skills of prep stage first graders. The researcher adopted the experimental approach. The study sample consisted of (86) male and female prep stage first graders. They were divided into two group; the first group was a control one (42) students, and the second group was an experimental one (44) students. Materials and instruments of the study were prepared. They were the teacher's guide, students' work sheets for the proposed strategy, spatial ability test and evaluative thinking skills on the unit of geometry and measurement. The study instruments were pre and post implemented. The researcher could arrive at statistically significant differences at (0.01) level between the means of scores obtained by the subjects of the experimental group and those of the control one favoring the experimental group on both spatial test and evaluative thinking skills test. The researcher recommend that educational institutions should adopt the training of teachers on teaching according to successful intelligence theory in teaching Mathematics. (Published abstract)
