هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس مستوى التصور المكاني لدى طلاب قسم الرياضيات بجامعة شقراء، وتحديد علاقته الارتباطية بالتحصيل الدراسي في الرياضيات، واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وطبق مقياس (بوردو المعدل) (RPSVT) (the Revised Purdue Spatial Visualization Test) على عينة تبلغ (72) طالبا من طلاب قسم الرياضيات بجامعة شقراء، بعد التأكد من صدقه وثباته. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة ضعف مستوى التصور البصري المكاني لدى طلاب قسم الرياضيات بجامعة شقراء، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية بين التصور البصري المكاني والتحصيل الدراسي في الرياضيات، إضافة لوجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) في مستوى التصور البصري المكاني لدى طلاب قسم الرياضيات بجامعة شقراء تعزى لمتغير التحصيل الدراسي في الرياضيات لصالح الطلاب ذوي التحصيل المرتفع. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصى الباحث بإعادة النظر في المقررات التخصصية في الرياضيات، لتتضمن أنشطة إثرائية ترفع من مهارات الطلاب على التمييز البصري، وإدراك العلاقات المكانية في الفراغ. This study aimed to measure the spatial visual perception for mathematics department students, and identify its relationships with achievement in mathematics. The researcher followed the descriptive relational approach, the study used tool test visual spatial perception which is (the revised Purdue spatial visualization test) (RPSVT) on sample consisted of 72 mathematics department students. The researcher used Pearson correlation coefficient to find a relationship, and analysis of variance to detect the impact, as well as Sheffer test to see less significant differences. The results of the study showed grade weakness of the spatial visual perception for mathematics department students, and found a positive relationship between the average scores of spatial visual perception and achievement in mathematics, in addition to that there are statistically significant differences in visual spatial perception due to the level of achievement in mathematics, as had those with high achievement in mathematics. In light of these results, the researcher recommended: reconsidering the academic mathematical courses to include activities in the spatial visual perception content to suit each stage of teaching.
