This research aimed at identifying the administrative requirements necessary for achieving the green school standards in Egyptian schools. The analytical deductive approach was used and a questionnaire was prepared and presented to a group of experts. The research has resulted in the administrative requirements needed to achieve the green school standards in Egyptian schools, among them are the three main administrative requirements: (centralization that should be provided by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education), (locality that should be provided by the directorates and the departments of education), (scholastic requirements that should be provided by the schools). These three main administrative requirements include (28) sub administrative requirements. Among them are: the interest of central and local leaders in the idea of green schools and their support for schools to achieve their standards, reconsidering the prevailing educational thought while adopting change management towards green schools, and issuing a green building law that adopts the establishment of green schools and greening existing schools. In light of these results, some suggested recommendations that are helpful to the administrative requirements are also presented. Some of these recommendations include the dissemination of the culture of green schools in Egyptian society through various media outlets, and setting up a classification system for green schools.
