هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن الدور الوسيط للأفكار اللاعقـلانية بين التـوجه نحـو المستقبل وكلا من المسـؤولية التحصيلية والإرجاء الأكاديمي لدى طلبة الجامعة، واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي، كما تم اختيار عينة عشوائية من طلاب جامعة الباحة قوامها (720) طالبا وطالبة، بواقع (400) طالبا وطالبة من المتفوقين دراسيا، و(320) طالبا وطالبة من المتأخرين دراسيا، طبق عليهم مقاييس: الأفكار اللاعقلانية (الباحث)، والتوجه نحو المستقبل (الصقر، 2011)، والمسؤولية التحصيلية (الخزاعلة والحمدون، 2010)، والإرجاء الأكاديمي (السكران، 2015)، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من أبرزها: لا تظهر عينة الدراسة تباينا من الأفكار اللاعقلانية، فيما تظهر العينة مستوى مرتفع من التوجه نحو المستقبل، بينما تظهر مستوى متوسط من المسؤولية التحصيلية، كذلك توجد درجة متوسطة من الإرجاء الأكاديمي لدى عينة الدراسة، كذلك كشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين الأفكار اللاعقلانية والإرجاء الأكاديمي لدى الطلبة المتأخرين دراسيا فقط، كما توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين التوجه نحو المستقبل والإرجاء الأكاديمي لدى مجمل العينة، كذلك توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (0.05 ≥α ) بين المسؤولية التحصيلية والإرجاء الأكاديمي لدى مجمل العينة، كما يوجد نموذج سببي يفسر العلاقة بين الأفكار اللاعقلانية وكل من التوجه نحو المستقبل والمسؤولية التحصيلية والإرجاء الأكاديمي. The study aimed to identify the intermediary role of irrational thoughts between future orientation and both achievement responsibility academic procrastination among the university students. To achieve this objective, the study followed the descriptive approach. Then, a random sample of students- from all faculties of Al-Baha University- was selected (720) students, by (400) students from the excelling students, and 320 students from the late coming academically students, and applied the study tools which consisted of scales: of irrational ideas (the researcher), future orientation (al-saker, 2011), achievement responsibility (Khaza'leh and Hamdoun, 2010), and academic procrastination (Alskran, 2015). The study found a set of results, such as: there was no a variety level of irrational thoughts among Baha University students, while there was a (high) degree for future orientation, and (moderate) degree for achievement responsibility& academic procrastination among the study sample, the results also found a statistically significant correlation between the irrational thoughts and academic procrastination of the late coming academically students only, also there was a statistically significant correlation between the future orientation and academic procrastination, and there was a statistically significant correlation between the achievement responsibility and academic procrastination, finally, there was a causal model that explains the relationship between irrational thoughts and the dimensions of future orientation, achievement responsibility and academic procrastination among Baha University students and students.
