هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى واقع ممارسة قيادة التغيير في مؤسسات التعليم العام الكويتية للعام الدراسي 2018-2019 من وجهه نظر مديري المدارس فيها، وقد بلغت عينة الدراسة 32 مدير ومديرة مدارس التعليم العام الكويتية تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من بين مديري المدارس في التعليم العام الكويتي. وقد اعتمدت الباحثة أسلوب المقابلة المقننة والمؤلفة من أربعة أسئلة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة استخدام نمط قيادة التغيير من قبل مديري مدارس التعليم العام الكويتية جاءت بنسبة عالية بناء على نسبة استخدام أسلوب قيادة التغيير في المنظمات التعليمية، كما أظهرت أن مدارس التعليم العام الكويتية مهيئة لعمليات التغيير المختلفة والمفاجئة. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة توصي الباحثة زيادة نشر ثقافة قيادة التغيير في المؤسسات التعليمية والتربوية، والسعي إلى التدريب والتعليم المستمر للقيادات التربوية والتعليمية لأساليب قيادة التغيير، تمكين العاملين في المؤسسات التعليمية باتخاذ القرارات وقيادة التغيير، وضع خطط استراتيجية لقيادة أنماط التغيير داخل المؤسسات التعليمية والتربوية. This study aimed to find out the reality of the changing leadership in the Kuwaiti Public education institutions from their schools’ principals point of view for the scholastic year 2018/ 2019. Study sample reached (32) male and female principals in the Kuwaiti public education schools, they were selected by the random method from the schools’ in the Kuwait public education. The researcher depended on the short-interview method which consisted of four clauses distributed. Results of the study showed that degree of presenting the changing leadership by the Kuwaiti public education schools’ principals came at high percentage based on the percentage of using the changing leadership style in the educational organizations, it also showed that Kuwaiti public education institutions are ready for different and sudden change processes. In light of the study results, the researcher recommending disseminating the changing leadership culture in the educational institutions generally and the pedagogical institutions particularly, and seek to training and continuous education for educational leaders for leadership methods of change, to enable staff in educational institutions to make decisions and changing leadership, to develop strategic plans to lead change patterns within educational and educational institutions.
