هدف البحث إلى تنمية بعض سلوكيات الأمان والسلامة في (المنزل - المدرسة - الطريق) اللازمة للأطفال المعاقين القابلين للتعلم بمدارس التربية الفكرية، واعتمد البحث على المنهج التجريبي ذو المجموعة الواحدة (قبلي - بعدى). وتضمنت المواد التعليمية وأدوات البحث: قائمة بالأخطار التي ويواجها الأطفال المعاقين في (المنزل - المدرسة - الطريق)، قائمة مهارات الأمان والسلامة، البرنامج المقترح، وبطاقة ملاحظة سلوكيات الأمان والسلامة (الأدوات من تصميم الباحث)، وتكونت عينة البحث من (7) أطفال معاقين عقليا القابلين للتعليم بالصف الأول التعليمي بإحدى مدراس التربية الفكرية بالقاهرة، وتوصلت النتائج إلى نمو سلوكيات الأمان والسلامة في (المنزل - المدرسة - الطريق ) لدى عينة البحث بعد التجريب، ويرجع الباحث ذلك إلى التأثير الإيجابي للبرنامج مما يدل على فاعليته. The study aimed to develop some of the required security and safety behaviors of the educable mentally handicapped children at (home, school and street) in the intellectual education schools. The experimental approach was used (the one group pretest- posttest design). The tools of the study were designed by the researcher: a checklist of the confronted dangers by the disabled children at home, school and street, a checklist of safety and security skills, the suggested program and an observation sheet of the safety and security behaviors. The sample of the study consisted of seven first grade of educable mentally handicapped children in one of the intellectual education schools in Cairo. The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of the suggested program as there was a development in the safety and security behaviors of the disabled children. (Published abstract)
