The current research aims: (to identify the authoritarian practices of primary school principals from the point of view of male and female teachers), by (25) male and (62) female teachers, distributed among the government primary morning schools affiliated to the Second Rusafa Directorate of Education. Then the researchers prepared a special questionnaire for authoritarian practices for primary school principals that consisted of (26) items to know the level of authoritarian practices of (25) male and female teachers after two weeks of applying the test, it reached (0.89), which is a good stability coefficient. To analyze the data, the researchers used the statistical package (SPSS) and reached the following results: 1) The general level of the use of authoritarian practices is high, according to the results of the current research. 2) The lack of appropriate conditions for the adoption of modern and democratic administrative methods that encourage cooperative work and the participation of staff in completing schoolwork in a democratic manner.
