This study attempted to address the subject of e-learning in the Arab-Islamic Civilization university course, in terms of concept, mechanisms, and goal, among university students, especially in light of the necessity of social distancing imposed by the Corona pandemic. If we want to advance our higher education and improve it to be able to adapt to all new scientific transformations, we must ask about the nature of skills that must be acquired? And the information that must be added? And about modern and effective strategies to communicate them? According to which standard, do we exclude some of them? The knowledge explosion that the world is witnessing requires us to think clearly about other more flexible educational methods and mechanisms that do not depend on filling the mind of the students and indoctrinating them, but rather make them the focus of the whole educational process, considering that the education process is constantly renewed, it must accompany in its path the images of development and cognitive change. These times call for such measures, especially with the existence of computer technology and the Internet, which is one of the most important aspects of e-learning, starting with the use of electronic displays to deliver lessons in traditional classes, the use of multimedia in classroom learning and self-learning processes, and ending with smart schools and virtual classes that allow students to attend and interact with international lectures and seminars based on the techniques of the online interactive videos, which appears to be strongly needed now if not saying it is the only solution in these circumstances.
