The current research aims to find out: 1) The effectiveness of distinguished teaching in the achievement of mathematics in the students of the schools of excellence. 2) The effectiveness of distinguished teaching in the development of mathematical thinking among students of the schools of excellence. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher formulated the following zero hypotheses: 1) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average grades of students of the experimental group studying using differentiated teaching and the average score of the students of the control group who study using the usual method of achievement testing of mathematics. 2) There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) in the development of mathematical thinking among the students of the experimental group who study with differentiated teaching before and after application. 3) There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) in the development of mathematical thinking among the students of the control group who study in the usual way before and after the application. 4) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) in the development of mathematical thinking between the students of the experimental group who study with differentiated teaching, and the students of the control group who study in the usual way in the test of mathematical thinking. The research community was damaged by the schools of all middle-class students in Misan province, where the researcher applied the experiment. The average of the outstanding boys, in which there are three divisions for the first middle class, was selected two divisions randomly, one of which was distributed into two groups, one experimental and the other an officer. The mathematics book for the first grade is an intermediate adopted for the academic year 2018-2019, the researcher promised two types of teaching plans the first of the control group according to the usual method and the second for the experimental group that studied the distinguished teaching, the researcher promised two tools for research are the achievement test and the test Mathematical thinking. The results of the research showed a statistically significant difference in the attainment test and in the mathematical thinking test in favor of the experimental group. (Published abstract)
