The research aims to draw a picture of the reality of the spatial distribution of the independence of school buildings for the preparatory academic education stage in Diyala Governorate, and to determine the adequacy of school buildings in light of the planning standards for the reality in the province, where educational services should develop in line with population growth and scientific and technological development, as the population is constantly increasing. This means the expansion of educational institutions in line with the population increase and according to the standards adopted in this field. If this is not achieved, many problems will occur that will have negative effects on the educational process. The increase in the population and the lack of schools will lead to an increase in the number of students in one school and doubly. Which compels the responsible authorities to make the shifts two meals and in some cases to three meals, and this has negative repercussions on the student’s scientific level. The descriptive approach was followed in reviewing the reality of this service, and the analytical approach in presenting and evaluating the variables of this service and extracting the results.
