This research aims at exploring the relationship between psychological security and fear in a sample of fourth class of primary education at the official schools in Damascus city. It also aims at indicating the differences between children in psychological Security and fear according to gender (males and females). The sample of the study consisted of (806) child (416) males, (390) females in the primary fourth class of the official schools in Damascus City. This sample was selected randomly by using a stratified random sample. The tools of the study was the test of psychological security which prepared by the researcher and the test of fears on children which was prepared by Zeanab Mahmoud Shocair (2002), these tools were applied on a pilot sample and it was tested for its validity and reliability.
