هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة توافر منحى العلم والتقانة والمجتمع والبيئة (STSE) في مناهج العلوم لسلسلةكامبريدج الدولية بسلطنة عمان، تكونت عينة الدراسة من مناهج العلوم للصفو ف 8-5 ، استخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي، وأعد بطاقة تحليل تكونت من (30) مؤشرا موزعة على ستة مجالات رئيسة لمنحى العلم والتقانة والمجتمع والبيئة وهي : الآثار الإيجابية للعلم والتقانة في المجتمع والبيئة، والآثار السلبية للعلم والتقانة في المجتمع والبيئة، وأثر المجتمع في العلم والتقانة، وأثر العلم والتقانة في حل المشكلات البيئية، والعلاقات المتبادلة بين العلم والتقانة، ومحددات كل من العلم والتقانة، واعتمد الموضوع كوحدة للتحليل، وللتحقق من صدق الأداة تم عرضها على المحكمين المختصين، أما ثباتها تم عن طريق معامل Holisti بين ثلاثة محللين، وكشفت النتائج عن: توافر مجالات المنحى بنسبة ضعيفة (16.3%) وتفاوت توزيعها في مناهج العلوم، وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية تضمين مجالات المنحى عند تطوير مناهج العلوم لمراحل التعليم الأساسي، وتوزيع نسب مجالاته توزيعا متزنا في مناهج العلوم. The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of the science, technology, society and environment (STSE) approach in the science curricula of the Cambridge International Series in the Sultanate of Oman. Main areas of science, technology, society and the environment, which are: The positive effects of science and technology on society and the environment, the negative effects of science and technology on society and the environment, the impact of society on science and technology, the impact of science and technology on solving environmental problems, the interrelationships between science and technology, and the determinants of both science and technology. The tool was presented to the specialized arbitrators, As for its stability, it was done by Holisti coefficient among three analysts, and the results revealed: the availability of orientation fields at a weak rate (16.3%), and their uneven distribution in science curricula. in science curricula.
