تتحدد مشكلة البحث في أن مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية من المواد التي يمكن أن تسهم في تنمية المهارات الحياتية إلا أن النمط السائد الآن في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية مازال يهتم بالجانب المعرفي ويعتمد على الحفظ والتلقين. أما نتائج البحث فهي كالتالي: 1) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات التلاميذ مجموعة الدراسة في اختبار المواقف الحياتية ككل (وفي كل مهارة على حدة) عند مستوى دلالة (0.01 = α) قبل وبعد تدريس الوحدتين باستخدام الخرائط الإلكترونية لصالح التطبيق البعدي. 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات التلاميذ مجموعة البحث في بطاقة الملاحظة ككل (وفي كل مهارة على حدة) عند مستوى دلالة (0.01 = α) قبل وبعد تدريس الوحدتين باستخدام الخرائط الإلكترونية لصالح التطبيق البعدي. The research problem can be identified that the Social Studies subject could contribute to developing life skills, however, the common pattern now in the teaching of Social Studies still cares side cognitive and depends on the conservation and indoctrinate. Most important findings are as following: Proven results of the search the effectiveness of using electronic maps in developing life skills such as (environmental conservation, problem solving, decision taking, and identification of the site in the daily life, to identify the direction in daily life) to the pupils of the sixth-grade primary.
