هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية برنامج تدريبي قائم على كائنات التعلم الرقمية لتنمية القدرة المكانية لدى الطلاب المعلمين في تخصص الرياضيات بجامعة القصيم، وتكونت العينة من 30 طالباً وبطريقة عشوائية تم توزيعهم بالتساوي على مجموعتين أحدهما ضابطة لا تخضع للبرنامج التدريبي والأخرى تجريبية تخضع للبرنامج التدريبي. وتكونت أداة الدراسة من اختبار القدرة المكانية والذي تم تطبيقه على المجموعات قبلياً وبعدياً. وقد أظهرت الدراسة عدداً من النتائج منها وجود فاعلية للبرنامج التدريبي المقترح في تنمية القدرة المكانية لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية، كما أن هناك فروق دالة إحصائياً في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار القدرة المكانية لجميع مكونات القدرة المكانية كلاً على حده وللقدرة المكانية ككل وذلك لصالح المجموعة التجريبية بحجم أثر كبير وتم تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات في ضوء نتائج الدراسة. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a proposed training program based on digital learning objects in developing the spatial ability for preservice mathematics teachers in Qassim University. The sample was 30 male students, half of them represented the experimental group, which had the training program, and the other half represented the control group. The study tool was a test self-made by the researcher for the spatial ability and applied for the two groups before and after the experiment. Findings showed the effectiveness of the proposed program on the spatial ability for the members of the experimental group. It also, appeared that there were a statically difference for the experimental students in post implementation of the spatial ability test for each of its components and for it as a whole. In view of the study’s results, a number of suggestions and recommendations were given. (Published abstract)
