يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على دور التعليم الجامعي في إكساب الشباب الجامعي للقيم والاتجاهات الإيجابية، كما يهدف الى الكشف عن مخاطر الغزو الفكري، والثقافي للعولمة، وما يتبعه من تأثيرات على الأفراد، والجماعات، وقدرة التعليم الجامعي على تعزيز الإنتماء لدى الشباب الجامعي. وقد توصل البحث الى عدة نتائج نوجزها في الآتي: وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في مستوى ادراكهم لمفهوم العولمة، ترجع لصالح الإناث. وعدم وجود فروق إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الكلية والمستوى الدراسي بالنسبة لمستوى إدراك الطلاب لمفهوم العولمة. عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى إدراك الطلاب لمفهوم الإنتماء تعزى لمتغير النوع والكلية والمستوى الدراسي. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى إدراك الطلاب لدور الجامعة في تعزيز الإنتماء لدى الشباب تعزى للنوع ولصالح الذكور. This research aims to identify the role of university education in providing the university youth with the positive values. It also aims to explore the risks of intellectual and cultural invasion of globalization and its consequences on the individuals and groups and to explore the ability of university education to enhance affiliation among the youth. It has been found that there is a statistically significant difference in the level of understanding the concept of globalization between males and females in favor of women and there are no statistically significant differences in the level of affiliation attributed to the variables of gender, college and academic level. There is a statistically significant difference in the level of students' understanding the role of the university in enhancing affiliation among the young attributed to gender and in favor of men.
