يهدف البحث إلى دراسة واقع دور عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة المنوفية، للوقوف على المعوقات التي تحول دون قيامه بالدور المنوط به، للوصول إلى رؤية مستقبلية لتطوير ذلك الدور، واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي، وتضمن البحث ثلاثة محاور، المحور الأول الإطار النظري والذي تم فيه عرض أدور أعضاء هيئة التدريس والتحول الرقمي، وواقع دور عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة المنوفية في ضوء مفهوم التحول الرقمي، والمحور الثاني الدراسة الميدانية والتي هدفت إلى التعرف على واقع أدوار أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة المنوفية وذلك من خلال تحديد مدى توافرها، وتوصل البحث إلى أن أدوار أعضاء هيئة التدريس لابد وأن تتماشى مع متطلبات عصر التحول الرقمي، من خلال استبانة والتي تم تطبيقها على عينة عشوائية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية الاقتصاد المنزلي والتي بلغ عددها (70) عضو، وفي محوره الثالث رؤية مستقبلية بوضع سيناريوهات لتطوير أدوار أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة المنوفية في ضوء مفهوم التحول الرقمي. This research aims at studying the reality of the faculty member’s role at Menoufia University, to identify the obstacles which prevent the faculty member from achieving the assigned role, in order to get a future vision to development this roe. the research used a descriptive method. This research contains three themes: The first theme provides the theoretical framework that shows the faculty member’s role, digital transformation, and the reality of the faculty member’s role at Menoufia University with in of the concept of Digital Transformation. The second theme includes the empirical study that aimed at understanding the reality of the faculty member’s roles at Menoufia University through recognizing their availability. Through a questionnaire, which was applied to a random sample of the faculty members in the Faculty of Home Economics, which numbered (70) members. The third theme addresses a future vision including some scenarios in order to activate the faculty member’s roles at Menoufia University with in of the concept of Digital Transformation.
