هدفت الدراسة إلى استطلاع آراء المشرفين التربويين حول مستوى تضمين أهداف المسابقات العلمية في أولمبياد العلوم المحلي في السعودية. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، المتضمن إعداد أداة الدراسة، التي تمثلت في "استبانة"، تم التحقق من صدقها والثبات، ثم تم تطبيقها ميدانياً على (80) مشرفاً تربوياً في منطقة الرياض، خلال الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي 1437-1438هـ. وقد أظهرت النتائج تضمين أهداف المسابقات العلمية في أولمبياد العلوم المحلي في السعودية، بمستوى عال لجميع الأهداف، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن قيمة (ت) غير دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.05 طبقاً لمتغيري المؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، بينما كانت قيمة (ت) دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.05 طبقاً لمتغير جهة العمل، وكذلك كشفت الدراسة عن مجموعة أهداف مقترحة، قد تساهم في تطوير المسابقة وتحسينها. وفي ضوء النتائج الظاهرة أوصت الدراسة بإعادة النظر في مؤشرات إبراز المبادئ الإسلامية، وتنمية القدرات اللغوية، ومواكبة الأحداث العلمية والتقنية، التي أظهرت النتائج تضمينها بمستوى متوسط. كما أوصت الدراسة بتضمين الأهداف والإجراءات التطويرية المقترحة، وأخيراً تم اقتراح بعض الدراسات التي يمكن أن تكمل طبيعة هذه الدراسة وتثربها. The study aimed to explore views of the educational supervisors about the inclusion level of scientific competitions objectives in the Domestic Science Olympics in Saudi Arabia and provide proposed developmental suggestions. To achieve the study aim, the study used a descriptive approach through conducting a questionnaire, where its validity and reliability of the questioner were assured. The study population and sample consisted of (80) educational superintendents in Riyadh educational province during the first semester of the academic year 2016. Results showed that the inclusion level of scientific competitions objectives in the Domestic Science Olympics was high for all objectives. Also, results revealed that there were no significant statistical differences with regard to the study variables, such as: educational qualification and years of experience. While, there was significant statistical difference among educational superintendents in terms of their employers. In the light of the results, several recommendations and further research studies suggestions were proposed. (Published abstract)
