هدفت هذه الدراسة للكشف عن أثر مبادرات ضمان الجودة على أداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة في سلطنة عمان، ومعرفة الدور الوسيط لثقافة الجودة بها، واعتمدت الباحثة المنهج المسحي الوصفي، واختارت العينة الطبقية العشوائية النسبية من مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة، فتألفت من (337) من القيادات العليا (العميد، مساعد العميد، رؤساء الأقسام، نواب رؤساء الأقسام، ومن في حكمهم)، إضافة إلى الهيئة الإدارية والأكاديمية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة، وطوَّرت الباحثة استبانة من (108) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مقاييس هي: (مبادرات ضمان الجودة (27) فقرة، ثقافة الجودة (33) فقرة، أداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة في سلطنة عمان (48) فقرة)، وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود تأثير إيجابي عال ومباشر ودال إحصائياً (0.868) لمباردات ضمان الجودة على ثقافة الجودة، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود تأثير إيجابي عال ومباشر ودال إحصائياً (0.807) لثقافة الجودة على أداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي، وكشفت النتائج وجود تأثير إيجابي ضعيف ومباشر ودال إحصائياً (0.188) لمباردات ضمان الجودة على أداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي، كما أشارت النتائج أن متغير ثقافة الجودة الذي يلعب دور الوسيط الجزئي (0.701) في العلاقة بين مبادرات ضمان الجودة وأداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة. This research aims to reveal the factors affecting the performance of private higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. It also aims to know the mediating role of quality culture by knowing the effect of the quality assurance initiatives on the performance of private higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher adopted a descriptive survey method and collected data from a stratified random sample from private higher education institutions. The tool i.e., a questionnaire developed by the researcher consisted of (108) items distributed on three scales: the quality assurance initiatives scale (27) items, and the performance of higher education institutions scale (48) items and the quality culture scale (33) items. The study sample consisted of (337) senior leaders (dean, assistant dean, department heads, deputy heads of departments, and the like). The sample also included the administrative and academic staff. The results indicated a high, direct and statistically significant positive impact (0.868) of quality assurance initiatives on the quality culture. The results also showed a high, direct and statistically significant (0.807) positive impact of quality culture on the performance of higher education institutions. The results revealed a weak, direct and statistically significant positive impact. (0.188) for quality assurance initiatives on the performance of higher education institutions. The results also indicated that the quality culture variable that plays the role of partial mediator (0.701) in the relationship between quality assurance initiatives and the performance of private higher education institutions.
