هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الإدارة المدرسية في مواجهة العنف المدرسي بمرحلة التعليم الثانوي العام بمصر، وذلك من خلال التعرف على أشكال العنف المدرسي، والكشف عن واقع دور الإدارة المدرسية في مواجهة العنف المدرسي بمرحلة التعليم الثانوي. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتم تصميم استبانة طبقت على عينة قوامها (1168) من الإداريين والمعلمين والأخصائيين بمرحلة التعليم الثانوي بمحافظات (القاهرة - أسيوط - كفر الشيخ). وأظهرت النتائج أن العنف اللفظي جاء في المرتبة الأولى بدرجة ممارسة كبيرة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.41)، يليه العنف المادي في المرتبة الثانية بدرجة ممارسة كبيرة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.35)، ثم جاء العنف الجسدي في المرتبة الثالثة والأخيرة بدرجة ممارسة متوسطة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.30). كما أظهرت النتائج المتعلقة بدور الإدارة المدرسية في مواجهة العنف المدرسي أن بُعد تنفيذ اللوائح والقوانين جاء في المرتبة الأولى بدرجة ممارسة متوسطة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.15)، يليه بُعد الإرشاد الطلابي في المرتبة الثانية بدرجة ممارسة متوسطة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.09)، ثم بُعد المشاركة المجتمعية في المرتبة الثالثة والأخيرة بدرجة ممارسة متوسطة؛ بمتوسط حسابي قدره (2.05). كما قدمت الدراسة تصورًا مقترحًا لدور الإدارة المدرسية في مواجهة العنف المدرسي بمرحلة التعليم الثانوي العام بمصر. The study aimed at identifying the role of the school administration in confronting school violence in Egyptian public secondary stage through identifying the forms of school violence and uncovering the actual school administration role in confronting school violence. The study used the descriptive approach to achieve its goals. A designed questionnaire was administered to a sample of 1168 administrators, teachers, and socialists at the secondary education stage in Cairo, Assiut, and Kafr El-Sheikh governorates. The results revealed that verbal violence came first with a large degree of practice; with a mean of 2.41, followed by physical violence in the second place with a large degree of practice; with a mean of 2.35, then physical violence in the third and last place with a moderate degree of practice; with a mean of 2.30. Results related to the role of the school administration in confronting school violence in the secondary education stage revealed that the dimension of implementing regulations and laws came in first place with a moderate degree of practice; with a mean of 2.15, followed by the student counseling dimension with an average degree of practice; with a mean of 2.09, followed by the dimension of community participation in the third and last place with a medium degree of practice; with a mean of 2.05. The study also presented a suggested proposal of the role of the school administration in confronting school violence in the secondary education stage. (Published abstract)
