هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى القلق الاجتماعي لدى عينة من طلبة المرحلة الثانوية، ولجمع البيانات أعد الباحث مقياس القلق الاجتماعي مكون من (14) فقرة، من خلال عينة ضمت (220) طالبا وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة من طلبة الصف الأول الثانوي لمديرية تعليم شرق محافظة خان يونس، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى: 1) المستوى العام للقلق الاجتماعي كان متوسطاً؛ بوزن نسبي (64.20%). 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تبعاً لمتغير النوع، لصالح الطالبات. 3) وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تبعاً لمتغير التخصص، لصالح التخصص العلمي. 4) وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تبعا لمتغير التحصيل الدراسي، لصالح الطلبة الذين تقديرهم التحصيلي (70%) فأقل. This study aimed to identify the level of social anxiety in a sample of secondary school students. In order to collect the data, the researcher prepared a social anxiety scale consisted of (14) paragraphs, through a random sample consisted of 220 students from Students of the first grade secondary school in directorate of education east of Khan Younis Governorate. The results of the study showed that: 1) The general level of social anxiety was average with a relative weight (64.20%). 2) There were statistically significant differences depending on the gender ariable, in favor of female students. 3) There were statistically significant differences depending on the variable of specialization, in favor of scientific specialization. 4) There were statistically significant differences according to the variable of scholastic achievement, for the benefit of students who have an estimated achievement (70%) or less.
