هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مصدر الضبط لدى طلبة السنة الأولى شعبة العلوم الاجتماعية في جامعة مستغانم وعلاقته بمستوى التوافق النفسي، تكونت عينة الدراسة من 235 طالبا وطالبة، وقد تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من بين أفراد مجتمع الدراسة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث أداتين: الأولى لقياس مصدر الضبط؛ أمّا الثانية لقياس مستوى التوافق النفسي، تمّ التّحقق من دلالات صدقها وثباتها. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: 1) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α=0.05) في مصدر الضبط تعزى لمتغير الجنس لصالح الإناث، بينما لم تظهر فروق في مستوى التوافق النفسي تعزى لمتغير الجنس. 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α=0.05) بين ذوي الضبط الداخلي وذوي الضبط الخارجي في مستوى التوافق النفسي لصالح ذوي الضبط الداخلي. 3) وجود علاقة ارتباط سالبة دالة بين مصدر الضبط ومستوى التوافق النفسي لدى الطلبة. This study aimed to know the locus of control of students in the first year branch of social sciences in the University of Mostaganem and its relation to psychic adjustment level. The sample of the study was consisted of 235 male and female students, which was chosen randomly from the study population. To achieve the study goals, the researcher has used two tools; the first tool related to scale the locus of control, while the second tool was related to the psychic adjustment level, and validity and reliability were tested and affirmed. The study findings were as follows: 1) There were significant differences at (α=0.05) from the locus of control attributed to the sex in favor of females. While no significant differences in the psychic adjustment level attributed to the sex. 2) There were significant differences at (α=0.05) between with internal control and with external control from the psychic adjustment in favor of with internal control. 3) There is a negative correlation between the locus of control and the psychic adjustment level of students.
