This study aimed to identify the degree of availability of electronic competencies in the field of school electronic communication among the principals of public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Southern Shouneh, and the descriptive approach was followed. 56), the study tool was represented by a questionnaire that consisted of two parts. Employing electronic applications in education), and its stability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and its value was (0.932), and the internal validity coefficient was calculated and its value was (0.965). The Southern Shouna Education Directorate was average in the field of general computer competencies and computer use competencies and the competencies of employing technology in the education process, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of availability of competencies due to the variable of gender and educational qualification. The study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The necessity of meeting the training needs of public school principals in the Southern Shouneh District and conducting a study similar to the current study on other samples so that the Ministry of Education can identify the training needs of school principals in Jordan.
