هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف مستويات الاحتراق النفسي لدى معالجي اضطرابات اللغة والكلام العاملين في مراكز التربية الخاصة في مدينتي عمان وإربد بالأردن، في ضوء متغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وعدد سنوات الخبرة، وتم تطبيق الدراسة على عينة عشوائية تكونت من (37) معالجاً ومعالجة باستخدام مقياس ماسلاش (Maslach) للاحتراق النفسي. كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الاحتراق النفسي لدى معالجي اضطرابات اللغة والكلام كان معتدلاً، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الاحتراق النفسي لدى المعالجين كان معتدلاً على بعدي الإجهاد الانفعالي، وتبلد المشاعر، ومرتفعاً على بعد نقص الشعور بالإنجاز. وأشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستوى الاحتراق النفسي تبعاً لمتغير الجنس، وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى الاحتراق النفسي تبعاً لمتغير المؤهل العلمي ولصالح المعالجين من حملة الدبلوم. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستوى الاحتراق النفسي لدى المعالجين تبعاً لمتغير عدد سنوات الخبرة، ولصالح المعالجين ذوي سنوات الخبرة الطويلة. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة تم تقديم توصيات عدة من أهمها: وضع خطط وقائية للحد من ظاهرة الاحتراق النفسي لدى معالجي اضطرابات اللغة والكلام، وزيادة اهتمام مراكز التربية الخاصة بالجانب النفسي لمعالجي اضطرابات اللغة والكلام، وإجراء المزيد من الدراسات عن الاحتراق النفسي لدى معالجي اللغة والكلام وعلاقته بمتغيرات أخرى مثل الرضا الوظيفي. This study aimed at identifying the levels of psychological burnout among speech and language therapists working in special education centers in Amman and Irbid, Jordan, in light of the variables of gender, academic qualification, and years of experience. The study adopted Maslach burnout inventory to investigate the levels of psychological burnout among 37 therapists chosen randomly. The results of the study showed that the level of psychological burnout among the therapists was moderate for the emotional stress, and insensitiveness, and high for the lack of sense of achievement. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of psychological burnout according to the variable of gender. The results also found statistically significant differences at the level of psychological burnout according to the variable of academic qualification in favor of diploma holders. The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level of psychological burnout among the therapists according to the variable of years of experience in favor of the therapists with years of experience. Based on the previous results, the study presented the following recommendations. Preventive plans should be developed to reduce the phenomenon of psychological burnout among speech and language disorders therapists. Increasing the interest of special education centers on the psychological side of language and speech disorders therapists, and conducting more studies on psychological burnout and its relationship to other variables such as job satisfaction.
