هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور مديري مدارس مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء قصبة إربد في توفير البيئة المدرسية الآمنة من وجهة نظر المعلمين. وتكونت العينة من (358) معلم ومعلمة وذلك خلال العام الدراسي (2020-2019)، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم تطوير الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة تكونت من (40) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات. وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن دور مديري المدارس في توفير البيئة المدرسية الآمنة قد جاء بمستوى مرتفع، وإلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي، وجاءت الفروق لصالح البكالوريوس، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر الجنس وجاءت الفروق لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لأثر سنوات الخبرة وجاءت الفروق لصالح أقل من (5) سنوات في مجال بناء العلاقات الإيجابية مع المعلمين ومجال المناخ المدرسي. وأوصت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات منها تعزيز وتحفيز مديري المدارس بإعطائهم المزيد من الصلاحيات للاستمرار في توفير البيئة المدرسية الآمنة وتحقيقها. The study aimed to identify the role of the directors of the Education Directorate schools for the Irbid District brigade in providing a safe school environment from the teachers’ point of view. The study sample consists of 358 male and female teachers during the academic year 2019-2020. The descriptive survey method and the development of the questionnaire were used as tools for the study. The questionnaire consisted of 40 items distributed in four areas. The results concluded that the role of the directors of the schools came with a high percentage. There are statistically significant differences attributed to the impact of the educational qualification. The differences came in favor of the bachelor degree, and the presence of statistically significant differences attributed to the impact of sex and differences came in favor of females. The presence of statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of years of experience and the differences came in favor of less than 5 years in the field of building positive relationships with teachers and the field of school climate. The study recommended strengthening and motivating school principals by giving them more powers to continue providing and achieving a safe school environment. (Published abstract)
