إن الانتقاء والتوجيه عملية مهمة ومتشعبة الاتجاهات وحلّها الصحيح يتطلب عملاً جماعياً يشترك فيه المدرب والمدرس والأخصائيين في التدريب وعلماء النفس على عدّة مراحل، ومنه جاءت هذه الدراسة لتسليط الضوء على الدور الذي يلعبه الأستاذ التربية البدنية والرياضية في توجيه التلاميذ نحو النشاط الرياضي المناسب لهم، من خلال الإجابة عن التساؤل الرئيسي التالي: هل للتخصص الأكاديمي لأستاذ التربية البدنية والرياضية دور في توجيه التلاميذ نحو النشاط الرياضي المناسب لهم؟ وللإجابة عن هذا التساؤل اعتمدنا على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي باعتباره أنسب منهج كما اعتمدنا على عينة مكونة من 50 أستاذاً تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية، واستعنا بأداة بحث تمثلت في استمارة استبيان تم إعدادها خصيصاً لهذه الدراسة، وتوصلت الدراسة في الأخير إلى أن أساتذة التربية البدنية والرياضية يوجهون التلاميذ إلى الأنشطة الرياضية وفق تخصصهم الأكاديمي كما يوجهنهم إلى الأنشطة الجماعية أكثر من الفردية. The selection and orientation is an important and multifaceted process and its correct solution requires collective work involving the trainer, the teacher, the training specialists and the psychologists in several stages. The study aims to highlight the role played by the professor of physical education and sports in guiding students towards the appropriate sports activity, Answer the following main question: Does the academic specialization of the professor of physical education and sports have a role in guiding students towards the appropriate sports activity for them? In order to answer this question, we relied on the descriptive approach as the most appropriate approach. We also relied on a sample of 50 randomly selected teachers. We used a research tool that consisted of a questionnaire prepared specifically for this study. Finally, the study found that the teachers of physical education and sports direct students to sports activities in accordance with their academic specialization and direct them to group activities rather than individuality.
