This study aimed to identify the perceptions and obstacles to the use of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic and its developments from the point of view of Jordanian government secondary school teachers in the Capital Governorate. The study population consisted of all Jordanian government secondary school teachers in the district of a university in the capital, Amman, and the sample of the study was (370) male and female teachers. They were chosen by simple random method, and a descriptive survey method was used. To collect the study data, a questionnaire was developed, consisting of (21) items distributed in two areas, namely: Perceptions of the use of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic and its developments from the viewpoint of teachers of Jordanian government secondary schools in the Capital Governorate. And the obstacles that prevent the effectiveness of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic and its developments from the viewpoint of secondary school teachers in the Capital Governorate. The results of the study showed that the degree of perceptions of the use of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic and its developments from the viewpoint of Jordanian government secondary school teachers in the Capital Governorate in general was moderate. The degree of obstacles preventing the effectiveness of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic and its developments from the viewpoint of secondary school teachers in the Capital Governorate was low. It also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences due to the effect of two variables: gender, academic qualification, and experience. (Published abstract)
