هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة إسهام الكراسي البحثية في تعزيز الآمن الفكري، والتعرف على سبل تفعيل دور الكراسي البحثية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري، والتعرف على المعوقات التي تعوق قيام الكراسي البحثية بدورها في تعزيز الأمن الفكري، ويتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الملك سعود، وجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود، وجامعة الملك عبد العزيز، وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية مكونة من (60) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي منهجا للدراسة، وأستعان الباحث بالاستبانة المكونة من (48) فقرة، بالإضافة إلى المقابلة المقننة مع بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس الذين يشغلون منصبا في الكراسي البحثية كأداة للدراسة. وقد توصلت الدراسة للعديد من النتائج أهمها: تبين أن المجموع الكلي لاستجابات أفراد عينة حول درجة إسهام الكراسي البحثية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري جاءت بدرجة متوسطة من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة، وتبين أن المجموع الكلي لاستجابات أفراد عينة حول سبل تفعيل دور الكراسي البحثية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري جاءت بدرجة عالية من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة، وتبين أن المجموع الكلي لاستجابات أفراد عينة حول المعوقات التي تعوق قيام الكراسي البحثية بدورها في تعزيز الأمن الفكري جاءت بدرجة عالية من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة. This study aimed at identifying the contribution of the ways of activating the role of research chairs to enhance intellectual security, and the obstacles that hinder that. The study community consisted of all faculty members at King Saud University, Imam Muhammad Bin Saud University and King Abdul-Aziz University. The study was conducted on a random sample consisting of (60) faculty members. The researcher used repetitions and percentages, arithmetic mean and standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha, T-test, one-way analysis of variance test, and the range equation as statistical methods. The study concluded several results including the total number of the sample members responses on the degree of contribution of research chairs in enhancing intellectual security came at a medium degree from the point of view of the study sample. It was found that the total number of responses of sample members on ways of activating the role of research chairs in enhancing intellectual security came at a high degree from the point of view of the study sample. It was also found that the total number of responses of sample members about the obstacles that hindered the establishment of research chairs' role in enhancing the intellectual security came at a high degree from the point of view of the study sample.
