هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع مواجهة التحديات العلمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة حائل، كما هدفت إلى معرفة دلالة الفروق في تقدير أفراد العينة وفقا لمتغيرات الدراسة، وتم استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وطبقت الدراسة على عينة مكونة من (٢٤٢) عضو هيئة تدريس وفقا لمتغيرات الجنس، والكلية، والرتبة الأكاديمية، وتكونت أداة الدراسة من (٣٠) فقرة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المتوسط الحسابي الكلي واقع مواجهة التحديات العلمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة حائل من وجهة نظرهم يساوي (2.82) وهو في المستوى المتوسط حسب المعالجات الإحصائية المستخدمة في الدراسة، كما اتضح أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصـائية في واقع مواجهة التحديات العلمية التطبيقية، تعزى إلى متغيري الجنس والكلية، بينما كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الرتبة الأكاديمية ولصالح رتبة أستاذ. The study aimed to identify the reality of facing scientific challenges from the viewpoint of faculty members in the University of Hail in, also aimed to know the significance of the differences in estimating the sample members according to the study variables, and the descriptive analytical approach was used, and the study was applied to a sample consisting of (242) A faculty member according to the gender, college, and academic rank variables. The study tool consisted of (30) items. The study results showed that the total arithmetic average is the reality of facing scientific challenges from the viewpoint of faculty members at the University of Hail from their point of view equal to (2.82). At the intermediate level, according to the treatments Statistical used in the study, as it turns out that there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of faculty of education for their members, due to the variables of sex and college, while there were statistically significant differences, due to the variable academic rank in favor of the rank of professor.
