يهدف هذا البحث النظري إلى الكشف عن كيفية تصدي الشيخ البشير الإبراهيمي، لسان حال حركة الإصلاح في الجزائر للمضامين التربوية والثقافية السائدة في الحقبة الاستعمار ية وكيفية تجديدها حتى تؤدي دورها في إصلاح الأمة والحفاظ على هويتها الإسلامية، وتحرير العقول من البدع والخرافات. وقد استخدم المنهج التاريخي والوصفي لطبيعة الموضوع الذي يقتضي تعدد المناهج، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: 1) تصحيح مفهوم التجديد والاعتماد على مؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية في عملية التجديد. 2) إحياء دور العلماء وتوجيههم للمجال التربوي. 3) الاهتمام بالبعد الإعلامي، ويرجع الفضل له في إنشاء الصحافة الحديثة. 4) الاهتمام بالكتابة من خلال جريدة البصائر. This theoretical research aims to highlight the approach used by the Sheikh El Ibrahimi, spokesman of the Movement Il Islah in Algeria, reflecting the state of society in order to defeat the educational and cultural contents that prevailed during the colonial period and from there, the way to renew their contents so that they can play a role in the preservation of the national Muslim identity and the refoundation of the nation by returning to its referents by ridding it of the slags of mythology , superstitions and heresy. As such, historical and linguistic approaches were used because of the nature of the theme that required a multidisciplinary approach. Thus the study has achieved the following results: 1) The need to correct the concept of renewal relying mainly on social institutions in the process of renewal, 2) The reactivation of the role of ulemas and their involvement in the educational field. 3) Taking into account the scope of Information by launching new bodies in this area. 4) The need for writing on various themes and its impact, which he did through the El Bassaier Review.
