تجلت اهمية البحث من خلال وضع دراسة تحليلية لواقع الاجهاد الوظيفي لمعلمي التربية الرياضية في مديريات تربيات محافظة بغداد أذ ان هناك عدة عوامل أدت تقليل مستوى اداء الدرس ولمواكبة التغيرات الكبيرة في مجتمعنا والتطورات التي تحدث داخل العملية التعليمية وقد أستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي (172) من معلمي التربية الرياضية لتربيات بغداد تم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العشوائية مقسمة الى عينتين عينة اولى والبالغ عددهم (76) لعينة البناء و(84) لعينة التطبيق وتم تصميم استمارة استبيان تحتوي على (5) محاور كل محور يحتوي على عدة فقرات تضمنت جوانب عديدة وبعد توزيع الاستبيان وجمع النتائج توصل الباحث إلى الاستنتاجات الآتية: حقق نتائج المقياس مستوى متوسط من الاجهاد الوظيفي لدى معلمي التربية الرياضية واوصى الباحث تنمية وتعزيز العلاقات الاجتماعية وتنظيم البيئة التعليمية داخل المدرسة. The importance of the research was manifested through the development of an analytical study of the reality of the occupational stress of the teachers of physical education in the directorates of education in Baghdad governorate, as there are several factors that led to the reduction of the level of the performance of the lesson and to keep up with the major changes in our society and developments, which occur within the educational process and the researcher used the descriptive approach (172) of the teachers of physical education in the directorates of education in Baghdad governorate, therefore the research sample was chosen randomly that divided into two samples, the first sample of (76) for the construction sample and (84) for the application sample and the questionnaire form was designed containing (5) fields of study each field contains several items that included many aspects and after the distribution of the questionnaire and the collection of the results the researcher reached the following conclusions: the results of the scale achieved a moderate level of occupational stress among the teachers of physical education and the researcher recommended to develop and strengthen social relations and organize the educational environment at school.
