هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة العلاقة بين عدد ساعات استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وكلاً من الاغتراب النفسي، وجودة الحياة لدي طلاب كلية التربية جامعة كفر الشيخ، وكذلك الكشف عن وجود فروق ترجع إلى (عدد ساعات استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي – الهدف من الاستخدام – نوعي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي الأكثر استخداماً) وكلاً من الاغتراب النفسي، وجودة الحياة لدي طلاب كلية التربية جامعة كفر الشيخ. استخدم الباحث إستمارة استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي إعداد/ الباحث، ومقياس الاغتراب النفسي إعداد/ آمال عبد السميع باظه (2004)، ومقياس جودة الحياة إعداد/ شاهر خالد سليمان (2010). تكونت عينة الدراسة من (738) طالباً وطالبة من طلاب كلية التربية جامعة كفر الشيخ، تراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (19- 22) سنة بمتوسط (20.578) سنة وانحراف معياري قدره (0.791) سنة. توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة طردية بين عدد ساعات استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي والاغتراب النفسي (الأبعاد الفرعية – الدرجة الكلية)، كما أظهرت وجود علاقة عكسية بين عدد ساعات استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وأبعاد جودة الحياة التعليمية، وجودة الحياة النفسية، وجودة إدارة الوقت، والدرجة الكلية لجودة الحياة، وعدم وجود علاقة في بعدي جودة الحياة الصحية وجودة الحياة الأسرية والاجتماعية، كما كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق ترجع إلى (عدد ساعات استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي – الهدف من الاستخدام – نوعي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي الاكثر استخداماً) في كلاً من الاغتراب النفسي (الأبعاد الفرعية – الدرجة الكلية)، وجودة الحياة (الأبعاد الفرعية – الدرجة الكلية) لدي طلاب كلية التربية جامعة كفر الشيخ. The study aims at finding out the relation between the number of hours of using social networking sites, and both psychological alienation, as well as quality of life among students of the Faculty of Education at Kafr El-Sheikh University, besides detecting the differences ascribed to the number of hours of use of social networking sites, the purpose of use, and the two types of social networking sites most commonly used, alongside both the psychological alienation and quality of life among students of the Faculty of Education at Kafr El-Sheikh University. The researcher used the form of the use of the social networking sites prepared by the researcher, the psychological alienation scale prepared by Amal Abd Al-Samie Baza (2004), and the quality-of-life scale prepared by Shaher Khaled Sulaiman (2010). It consists of 738 male and female students of the Faculty of Education, Kafr El-Sheikh University, ranging between 19-22 years with an average of 20.578 years and a standard deviation of 0.791 years. The results of the study showed a positive relation between the number of hours of using social networking sites and psychological alienation (sub-dimensions, total score); there was also an inverse relation between the number of hours of using social networking sites, and the quality of educational life, the quality of psychological life, the quality of time management, the overall quality of life, and the lack of quality of life and family and social life, and the results of the study demonstrated the existence of differences ascribed to the hours of using social networking sites, the purpose of use, the two types of social networking sites most commonly used, and the psychological alienation (sub-dimensions, total score) and quality of life (sub-dimensions, total score) among students of the Facultyof Education at Kafr El-Sheikh University.
