يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على أسباب انخفاض التحصيل الدراسي لطلبة الصف الثالث المتوسط في مدارس محافظة كربلاء في الامتحانات العامة من وجهة نظر المدرسين. لتحقيق هدف البحث اعد الباحث استبانة مكونة من (62) فقرة للتعرف على أسباب انخفاض التحصيل، يمثل كل منها سببا من الأسباب المحتملة لتدني التحصيل تم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها؛ استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي في البحث، تألفت عينة الدراسة من (310) مدرسا ومدرسة اي نسبة ما يقارب (10%) من المجتمع الكلي، توزعوا على المدارس المتوسطة الحكومية في محافظة كربلاء للعام الدراسي 2018-2019م؛ وبعد تحليل البيانات اللازمة من خلال برنامج (SPSS) أظهرت الدراسة النتائج الآتية: أظهرت تقديرات المدرسين إن أكثر الأسباب أهمية لانخفاض التحصيل الدراسي؛ كان في مقدمتها عدم وجود الرغبة الذاتية في الدراسة لدى الطالب، الظروف الاقتصادية والأمنية والسياسية الصعبة كذلك الاهتمام بوسائل اللهو والترفيه والانترنت في المنزل، اضافة الى قلة استخدام أساليب حديثة وطرائق جذابة في التدريس؛ فضلا ضعف التواصل بين المدرسة والبيت؛ وغيرها من الاسباب الاخرى الوارد في أداة البحث. في ضوء النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث الحالي قدمت مجموعة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات كإجراء دراسات أخرى مماثلة للدراسة الحالية على الطلاب في مراحل دراسية أخرى. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (62) items to identify the reasons for the low achievement, each of which represents one of the possible reasons for the low achievement was verified by its sincerity and consistency, the researcher used the descriptive method in the research, the study sample consisted of (310) teachers and any school about 10% of the total community distributed to government intermediate schools in Karbala governorate for the academic year 2018-2019, and after analyzing the necessary data through the (SPSS) program, the study showed the following results teachers' estimates showed that the most important reasons for the low academic achievement were, in the forefront, the lack of self-desire to study in the student, the difficult economic, security and political conditions, as well as interest in entertainment, entertainment and the internet at home, in addition to the lack of use of modern methods and attractive methods of teaching, as well as weakness communication between the school staff and the student's family, and other reasons mentioned in the research tool in light of the results of the current research, it presented a set of conclusions, recommendations, and proposals as conducting other studies similar to the current study on students in other academic stages.
