هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد العلاقة القائمة بين التربية بمقهومه العام والتنمية البشرية المستديمة ومعوقات تحقيقها في اليمن، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للاجابة عن اسئلة الدراسة والتوصل الى النتائج. وتمحورت اسئلة الدراسة في سؤالين اثنين، نص السؤال الاول على ما المتطلبات التربوية لدفع عمليات التنمية البشرية المستديمة؟ ولتحديد تلك المتطلبات عمدت الدراسة الى اعداد قائمة بالمتطلبات التربوية والتنموية ومن ثم تحكيم تلك القائمة على مجموعة المحكمين من المختصين والاكاديميين. ونص السؤال الثاني على: ما المعوقات التربوية التي تحول دون قيام التنمية البشرية المستديمة في اليمن؟ ولتحديد تلك المعوقات تم طرح سؤال الدراسة على مجموعة من المختصيين والاكاديمين وبتحليل اجاباتهم بالإضافة الى تحليل الادب التربوي ذي العلاقة . وخلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن غياب فلسفة تربوية واضحة المعالم والقسمات لنظم التعليم في اليمن يعد من أقوى المعوقات التي تواجه التنمية البشرية؛ ولأن بنى نظم التعليم اليمنية تقليدية الأمر الذي ترتب عليه العديد من النتائج التي تحول دون توافر الشروط اللازمة للتنمية البشرية، وأشارت النتائج إن المناهج التعليمية لا تصلح أن تكون أساسا للتنمية البشرية في اليمن، وتنمية رأس المال المعرفية، كون أغلبها مقطوعة الصلة بالعمل والإنتاج والتنمية، وقليلة الارتباط بحاجات الدارسين وبالحياة، وبالبيئات المحلية. كما أشارت النتائج أن ما تبذل من جهود التطوير نظم التعليم؛ تتضاءل ويخفت أثرها أمام الفيض الطلابي المتعاظم. وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية في ضوء النتائج بضرورة تطوير نظم التعليم التقليدية شريطة أن يسبق تطوير التربية التحولات التي يشهدها المجتمع أو المتوقع حدوثها، الناتجة عن التأثيرات الخارجية الدولية منها والإقليمية؛ حتى تهيئ التربية الأرضية الملائمة لحدوث التغيرات المرغوبة وتكييفها مع أنساق النظام العام للمجتمع، واستبعاد التغيرات غير المرغوبة. The study aimed to determine the relationship between education and sustainable human development and the obstacles to its achievement in Yemen. The study used the descriptive analytical method to answer the study's questions. The first question is : what are the educational requirements to advance sustainable human development processes? To determine those requirements, the study proceeded to prepare a list of educational and developmental requirements, and then arbitrate those lists on a group of arbitrators from specialists and academics. The second question stated: What are the educational obstacles that prevent sustainable human development in Yemen? In order to identify these obstacles, the study question was asked to a group of specialists and academics, and their answers were analyzed, in addition to the relevant educational literature. The results of the study concluded that the absence of an educational philosophy with clear features and divisions for the education systems in Yemen is one of the strongest obstacles facing human development. And because the structures of Yemeni education systems are traditional, which has resulted in many consequences that prevent the availability of the necessary conditions for human development, and the results indicated that the educational curricula are not suitable as a basis for human development in Yemen, and the development of knowledge capital, since most of them are cut off from work, production and development. And few links with the needs of the learners and life, and the local environments. The results also indicated that the efforts made to develop education systems; dwindles and dims its impact in front of the growing student influx. The study recommended based on the results, to develop the education system in consideration the changes that are happing in the local and international society; in order to prepare the appropriate ground education for the occurrence of the desired changes and adapt them to the general system formats of society and exclude the unwanted changes.
