The study aimed to identify the role of the guidance counselor in bringing about psychological compatibility, as well as to reveal the differences in the level of evaluation of the role of the guidance counselor in bringing about psychological compatibility among fourth-year pupils on average depending on the gender variable. The descriptive approach was used, and a questionnaire was constructed to measure the role of the guidance counselor in creating psychological compatibility in the four areas (media - guidance – psychological follow-up - evaluation) after being presented to a group of arbitrators. Ensuring its validity and reliability by applying it to an initial exploratory sample estimated at (30) male and female students, and the size of the basic sample reached (102) male and female students. The study reached the following results: 1) The media has a high role in creating psychological harmony among fourth-year students, average. 2) Orientation has a high role in creating psychological adjustment among fourth-year students. 3) To evaluate the average role of creating psychological compatibility among fourth-year students. 4) Psychological follow-up is an average role for the development of psychological compatibility among fourth-year pupils. 5) There is an average role for the guidance counselor in bringing about psychological adjustment among fourth year intermediate students. 6) There are no statistically significant differences in the role of the guidance counselor in bringing about psychological compatibility among fourth-year students, on average, due to the gender variable.
