هدف البحث إلى تحليل محتوى كتاب رياضيات الثالث المتوسط، وذلك وفقاً للمعايير التي أقرها المجلس القومي لمعلمي الرياضيات في أمريكا (NCTM, 2000)، اعتمدت الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي حيث اعدت أداة التحليل الخاصة بمعيار التمثيل الرياضي وتكونت الأداة من (3) معايير رئيسة و(13) معيار فرعي وتم التأكد من صدق الأداة بعرضها على مجموعة من المختصين، وثبات التحليل تم التحقق منه عبر الزمن حيث بلغ (94%) وعبر المحللين الخارجين بلغ (85%) بالنسبة للمحلل الأول و(87%) بالنسبة للمحلل الثاني. وكشف البحث عن تحقق معيار التمثيل الرياضي بنسبة (60.26). وقد قدم البحث عدداً من التوصيات والمقترحات. The research aims at analysis of the content of mathematics textbook third intermediate class according to the standards approved by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in America (NCTM,2000), the researcher has adopted analytical descriptive method, where the analysis tool was prepared for the criterion of mathematical representation. The tool consisted of (3) main criteria and (13) sub-criteria. The validity of the tool was confirmed by its presentation to a group of experts, The reliability of the analysis has been verified over time, where it was to (94%) And outside analysts it was (85%) for the first analyst and it amount to (87%) for the second analyst, and percentages. The research revealed the achievement of the standard of mathematical representation at percentage (60.26). The research has presented a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
