استهدف البحث الحالي قياس الأجهاد الفكري لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية وتعرف دلالة الفروق الإحصائية في الإجهاد الفكري لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية تبعاً لمتغير النوع (ذكور- إناث) ومتغير التخصص (علمي- أدبي) وقد أختيرت عينة البحث من طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية التابعة لمديرية تربية الكرخ الأولى وبالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية حيث بلغت (500) طالب وطالبة بواقع (250) ذكوراً و(250) إناثاً وللفرعين العلمي والأدبي. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قام الباحثان ببناء مقياس الإجهاد الفكري، وقد عالجا البيانات إحصائياً بأستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية (SPSS) مستعملين معادلة الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة لتعرف الإجهاد الفكري لدى العينة ككل حيث بلغت القيمة التائية المحسوبة (5.866) وهي أكبر من القيمة التائية الجدولية البالغة (1.96) وهذا يعني أن الطلبة لديهم إجهاد فكري، وقد استخدم الباحثان الإختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين لتعرف الهدف الثاني وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث، إذ بلغت القيمة التائية المحسوبة (0.878) وهي أصغر من القيمة التائية الجدولية البالغة (1.96). كما وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الاجهاد الفكري تبعاً لمتغير التخصص (علمي-أدبي). إذ بلغت القيمة التائية المحسوبة (0.271) وهي أصغر من القيمة التائية الجدولية البالغة (1.96). وفي ضوء النتائج توصل الباحثان إلى عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات . The current research aims to measure intellectual stress among middle school students. The significance of the statistical differences in intellectual stress among middle school students according to the gender variable and the variable of specialization (scientific - literary) was selected. The research sample was chosen from middle school students belonging to the first Karkh Education Directorate (250) males and (250) females and scientific and literary sciences. To achieve the research objectives, the researchers built the measure of intellectual stress. The data were statistically analyzed using the statistical bag (SPSS) (T = 0.66), which is greater than the T-table value of 1.96. This means that the students have an intellectual stress. The researchers used the T-test for two independent samples to identify the second target. The results showed no statistically significant differences Between males and females. The calculated T value (0.878) is smaller than the tabular T value of (1.96). The results showed no statistically significant differences in intellectual stress according to the specialization variable (scientific literary). The calculated T value (0.271) is smaller than the table value of (1.96). In light of the results, the researchers reached a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
