هدف هذا البحث إلى قياس وتحديد دور القيم الأسرية في تشكيل معنى الحياة لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لقياس أهداف البحث، وتكونت أداة البحث (الاستبانة) من (20) فقرة مقسمة إلى (4) محاور رئيسة هي: الهدف من الحياة، الأمل في الحياة والرضا عنها، القدرة على التوافق، والمسؤولية تجاه الحياة. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث ما يلي: 1) وجود موافقة كبيرة جدا من قبل أفراد العينة حول دور القيم الأسرية في تشكيل الهدف من الحياة لدى لطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى بوزن نسبي 87.8%. 2) وجود موافقة من قبل أفراد العينة حول دور القيم الأسرية في تشكيل الأمل في الحياة والرضا عنها لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى بوزن نسبي 81.6%. 3) وجود موافقة من قبل أفراد العينة حول دور القيم الأسرية في مساعدة الفرد على التوافق لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى بوزن نسبي 77.0%. 4) وجود موافقة من قبل أفراد العينة حول دور القيم الأسرية في تشكيل المسؤولية تجاه الحياة لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى بوزن نسبي 78.6%. 5) لا توجد فروقات ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين استجابات أفراد عينة البحث حول علاقة القيم الأسرية بمعنى الحياة لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى تعزى لمتغير الجنس لأفراد عينة البحث .6) لا توجد فروقات ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين استجابات أفراد عينة البحث حول علاقة القيم الأسرية بمعنى الحياة لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى تعزى لمتغير التخصص ضمن المقياس الكلي لأفراد عينة البحث. 7) توجد فروقات ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين استجابات أفراد عينة البحث حول علاقة القيم الأسرية بمعنى الحياة لدى الطالب الجامعي في جامعة أم القرى في المحور الثاني -الأمل في الحياة والرضا عنها - تعزى لمتغيرر التخصص لصالح طلبة التخصص الشرعي .كما توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من التوصيات كان من أهمها: تفعيل مفهوم "معنى الحياة" ضمن الجانب التربوي، عبر الدورات التدريبية، والبحوث التربوية، والمناهج الدراسية، لما له من تأثير مباشر على الفرد من الناحية النفسية والتربوية والاجتماعية والفكرية والروحية. عقد ورشات توعوية لطلبة جامعة أم القرى بأهمية تعزيز العلاقات الأسرية لما لها من أثر في تشكيل المعنى الإيجابي لمعنى الحياة، ودورها البارز في تجاوز مسببات الإحباط التي تواجههم في الحياة. تنظيم لقاءات إرشادية لأهالي الطلبة وذلك لتوضيح وشرح أهمية الدعم الذي يقدمونه لأبنائهم ودوره في تجاوز أزماتهم المختلفة في الحياة .الاستفادة من المتخصصين في المجال الشرعي، لبلورة مفهوم معنى الحياة، ضمن الدورات والندوات والبرامج الإرشادية التي يتم عقدها للطلبة، وذلك لما تزخر به الشريعة الإسلامية من مفاهيم كلية تؤصل لمعنى الحياة. The aim of this research is to measure and determine the role of family values in shaping the meaning of life among university students at Umm Al-Qura University. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to measure the objectives of the research, and the research tool (questionnaire) consisted of (20) paragraphs divided into (4) main sections: the goal of life, hope in life and the satisfaction with it, the ability to agree, and responsibility towards life. The search results showed the following: 1) the presence of very large approval by the respondents about the role of family values in the formation of life goals amongst the students at the University of Umm Al-Qura with a relative percentage of 87.8%. 2) The presence of approval by the respondents about the role of family values in shaping hope in life and satisfaction in life amongst the students at the University of Umm Al-Qura with a relative percentage of 81.6%. 3) The presence of approval by the respondents about the role of family values in helping the individual to agree with the university student at Umm Al-Qura University with a relative percentage of 77.0%. 4) The presence of approval by the respondents about the role of family values in shaping responsibility towards life amongst the students at the university of umm al-qura with a relative percentage of 78.6%. 5) There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses of the research sample on the relationship of family values with the meaning of life amongst the students at the University of Umm Al-Qura due to the sex variable of the research sample. 6) There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses of the research sample on the relationship of family values with the meaning of life amongst the students at the University of Umm Al-Qura due to the specialization variable within the total scale of the research sample. 7) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses of the members of the research sample on the relationship of family values with the meaning of life amongst the students at the University of Umm Al-Qura in the second section - hope in life and satisfaction with it - due to the variable of specialization in favor of students of forensic specialization. The research also reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: activating the concept of "the meaning of life" within the educational aspect, through training courses, educational research, and curricula, because of its direct impact on the individual from the psychological, educational, social, intellectual, and spiritual aspects. Holding awareness workshops for Umm Al-Qura University students on the importance of enhancing family relations because of their impact on shaping a positive meaning of life and its prominent role in overcoming the causes of frustration in life. Organize guidance meetings for the families of students to clarify and explain the importance of the support they provide to their children and its role in overcoming their various crises in life.
