The study aimed to estimate the power of statistical tests in educational research in the Arab Gulf magazines over two 20-year intervals (1997–1996 and 2017–2016), in order to determine the change in the level of statistical power in educational magazines and the knowledge of reality of the use of statistical force analysis by researchers. The sample included 79 studies, including 875 statistical tests, and used the descriptive methodology. The study found a weak use of analysis of statistical power in educational research, and a decrease in statistical power according to the levels of the scientific significance (high - medium - low) between the two periods, respectively (0.97 - 0.79 - 0.24), (0.93 - 0.70 - 0.20).
