The aim of this study is to determine the degree to which a sample of university students in the southern governorates of the state of Palestine to the factors leading to the prevalence of tramadol abuse among students and the role of the university in its prevention. In order to achieve this, the two researchers followed the survey descriptive approach, applying a questionnaire of 34 paragraphs, on a sample of 454 students registered for summer 2017/2018 at the universities (The Islamic, Al-Azhar, Palestine). The results showed that the overall rating of the factors leading to the prevalence of tramadol abuse by the sample was relatively medium (62.52).%), and that their rating on the university's role in prevention was relatively high (69.12).%). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level indication (α≤0.05) between the average scores of offers the respondents the factors conducive to the spread of tramadol, and the role of the university in the prevention of which is attributable to the variables (sex, level of study, college).
